The Thangu Valley is one of the most picturesque sightseeing destinations of Chopta-Valley as well as North Sikkim. This valley is situated at a distance of 30 km from the town of Lachen. The most popular feature of this valley is its alpine meadows. These Alpine meadows are speckled around the few wooden houses and army camps present in the area. Its flowers and vegetation are also quite a matter of attraction, which comprises rare orchids and many other species of altitude flowers. The popular yearly Yak race of North Sikkim is also held in the Thangu Valley.
On arrival at Gangtok, you will meet and assist by our representative and now ready to drive Lachen via Tashi View Point, Seven Sister Falls, Naga Falls. Have lunch at Namok. Zero/Phodong wayside restaurant. High tea at Chungthang and continue to drive to Lachen. Dinner and night halt.
In the morning drive to Thangu Valley and visit Thangu Valley Lachen Apart from Teesta River, three more rivers, Chopta, Thangu, and Lassur also flow through this valley. Thangu valley is also a small village of the same name in the valley, which is used as a halt by tourists heading to the beautiful and popular attraction. And after that drive to Gurudongmar via Chopta Valley. And return to Lachen for breakfast. Leave Lachen for Gangtok. Lunch to be served on the way. Drop to Gangtok.
