Overview

Ranikhet is a hill station in Uttarakhand State, northern India. It’s known for its views of the Himalayas. Hundreds of bells adorn Jhula Devi Temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. Fruit trees grow on the terraced orchards of Chaubatia Gardens, with views of peaks including Nanda Devi. Mahatma Gandhi stayed in a hut, Gandhi Kuti, in nearby Tarikhet village during the independence struggle.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Nainital (320 Km)

On arrival in the railway station & airport from there, you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready to drive to Nainital. On arrival at the hotel, cheek-in & take some rest after some fresh & up and dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Nainital

After breakfast, you can spend the day doing local sightseeing. There are many places of interest like the Naina Devi temple, lands’ end, tiffin top, and the zoo, the Mall road, the Thandi Sadak and the shop in the famous Bhutia markets. You can plan an excursion to Bhimtal and Sattal. You can also do boating on the Naini Lake. Dinner & overnight stay at the hote

Day 3: Nainital/ Almora/Kausani (120 Km)

After breakfast, drive to Kausani via Almora. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. And after that drive to Kausani and on arrival go to visit the Gandhi Ashram from where Himalayan peaks are clearly visible; also visit some other viewing points in town. Go on an interesting excursion to the Baijnath temple complex, along the Gompti River; you’ll come across shrines built between the 09th & 12th centuries that are an architectural delight to watch. Dinner Overnight stay in Kausani.

Day 4: Kausani - Ranikhet (60 Km)

After breakfast, drive to drive to Ranikhet their lush green forests, majestic mountain peaks, exotic plant life, and attractive wildlife. To see nature and its elements in full harmony, the right place to be is Ranikhet; this spot had won the heart of Rani Padmini, queen of Raja Sudhardev. She chose this scenic place to be her abode the invigorating mountain breeze, the singing of birds, sounds and smells leave the onlooker spellbound. During the rains, flowers sprout up everywhere in rainbow colors, branches of trees stoop with ripened fruits and sunlight peeping through the mist and clouds endow an enchanting effect all across and then end of the tour with sweet memories.
