Aizawl This is the largest city in the state. It is the seat of a rich tribal cultural extravaganza and is famous for its handicrafts and Aizawl is also the center of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly house, and civil secretariat. There is a population of Aizawl strongly reflects the different communities of the ethnic Mizo people.
Champai This is one of the eight districts of Mizoram state in India. This district is bounded on the north by Churachandpur district of Manipur state, on the west by Aizawl and Serchhip districts, and on the south and east by Myanmar. Champai is basically dependent on agriculture for its living with Rice being the principal crop. Champai also surrounded by hills on all sides and inhabited people from different tribes with the Mizos being the majority tribe. Mizos were the oldest to inhabit Champai.
“Rih Dil”- This is the largest lake in Mizoram but is situated in Myanmar,” goes the common saying. This village itself is an establishment of adventure that lures the visitor to explore the mysterious and supposedly demon-haunted lake. This is 14 miles from Champhai in Mizoram and 63 miles from Falam, a town of Myanmar.
