Vaishno Devi is amongst the most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites in India. Nestled in the Trikuta Hills in Jammu, the cave temple of Goddess Vaishno Devi, who is the manifestation of Goddess Parvati or Shakti is then said to be the abode of 33 Hindu gods. An all-season pilgrimage, Vaishno Devi is thronged by more than 10 millions pilgrims every year. The devotees choose different ways like walking bare feet as well as crawling all the way up to seek Goddess’ blessing and pay gratitude for the wish-fulfillment. Vaishno Devi is believed to be the bestower of strength to the weak, sight to the blind, wealth to the poor and bless childless couples with children.
Arrival at Katra Railway station you will get on transfer to Katra Hotel.Check in at
Hotel.After refreshment take rest and drive to the sightseeing of Patnitop(74 KM)
. Visit Nag Mandir Temple , and Patni Top Park and After that come back to hotel .
Overnight stay in Katra hotel.
After breakfast we will go for Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan.We will provide Yatra
Slip for Mata Darshan. And come back the hotel and Dinner at Hotel and Overnight
stay in hotel.
After breakfast in the Hotel drive to the sightseeing of Shiv khori Temple And
Come back to hotel and Overnights stay in Hotel.
About Shiv Khori.Katra, the base of Vaishno Devi Yatra, Shiv Khori is a holy cave
that houses a naturally formed ‘Shivaling’ (the power behind all creations). And
Shiv Khori is one of the most respected shrines of the region which is visited by
the devotees of Lord Shiva in huge numbers every year. After that a milky fluid
drips on its own from the ceiling and offering Abhishekam to the Shivlinga. On
the left side of the Linga, the foot impressions of Ma Parvati can be seen. On the
same side, there is an impression of Kartikeya, the first son of Lord and Devi.
Right above the lingam, an impression of 5 headed Ganesha, their second son
can also be seen. It is believed that all the images and impressions of all Hindu
deities (33 Crore) and related objects like Trishul (the Trident of the Lord),
Sheshnag (Snake God with six heads) etc are all naturally formed. And The roof
of the cave also has an impression of Lord Vishnu’s Sudarshan Chakra. One can
also spot the images of Lord Rama, his consort Devi Sita, his brother Lakshmana
and Lord Hanuman. Overnight stay at hotel.
