Dzongri top i.e at 13,778 ft, is the highest point from where you get the 180-degree panoramic view of the mighty peaks of the Singalila and Kanchenjunga ranges. Dzongri top is a two hill climb from the Dzongri trekkers’ hut. The trek from Dzongri to Dzongri top takes about 45 mins. Goechala Pass is about 3kms from Chemathang on a steep route. It takes about 3 hours to reach and the terrain is full of rocks and boulders. After the first hour as you navigate through rocky hills, you will reach a viewpoint. Start the day with a trek to Dzongri. Taking around 5 hours, you will be walking through dense forests consisting of rhododendrons as well as 400 different flowering species.
