Garhwal- This is in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand lies the holy place of Yamunotri. About 3,293 meters above the sea level, Yamunotri stands proudly with its enormous mountain peaks, glaciers and gushing waters of Yamuna. The Yamuna River is the second most sacred river of India, originates in Yamunotri, making it one of the pilgrimage sites in the Chota Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.
On arrival at Delhi, and then will drive towards Rishikesh. Arrival at Rishikesh check-in at the hotel. In evening free at leisure Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
The morning after breakfast enjoys a full day Rishikesh sightseeing tour. Visit Bharat Mandir, Neelkanth Mahadev, Lakshman Temple, Lakshman Jhula, Trambakeshwar Temple, Ram Jhula & Gita Bhawan. In the evening take a rest or visit Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Dinner and overnight stay at Rishikesh.
After breakfast drive to Barkot. It is approx. 169 Km in 05 hrs. Journey. En-route you will visit Kempty fall at Mussoorie. On arrival at Barkot check-in the hotel. Overnight stay at Barkot.
After breakfast drive to Janki Chatti and then your trek will be starting for Yamunotri. You will cover the trekking distance either by walk or ride horses or on Doli. One side distance for the fourth day is 36 Km drive and 7 Km trek.
At Yamunotri taking bath in Jamnabai Kund and dip raw rice or potato in Surya Kund, after cooking use it as Prasad. Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila and to the main deity Yamunaji. After that, drive back to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh. It is approx. 169 Km in 05 hrs. Journey. On arrival at Rishikesh check-in the hotel. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and back to Delhi. Our representative will transfer you to Delhi Airport/Railway Station. You will back home with sweet memories of the Charming Yamunotri Tour.
