Visakhapatnam is a port city and industrial center in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, on the Bay of Bengal. It’s known for its many beaches, including Ramakrishna Beach, home to a preserved submarine at the Kursura Submarine Museum. Nearby are the elaborate Kali Temple and the Visakha Museum, an old Dutch bungalow housing local maritime and historical exhibits. Rayagada is a mineral-rich district in the southern part of Odisha, India. Rayagada became a separate district in October 1992. The population of this district consists mainly of tribes. The Kondhas or Kondhs form the majority of the population followed by Souras. Jeypore is the third largest city in South Odisha, India, and the largest city in Koraput District. It was established by King Veer Vikrama Dev in 1648-49CE. Gopalpur is a town and a Notified Area Council on the Bay of Bengal coast in Ganjam district in the southern part of Odisha, India. Today it is a commercial port, a famous sea beach and a tourist destination around 15 km from Berhampur. Puri is a city and a Municipality in the state of Odisha in eastern India. It is the district headquarters of Puri district and is situated on the Bay of Bengal, 60 kilometers south of the state capital of Bhubaneswar.
On arrival at Vishakhapatnam airport (Vizag), you will be received and transferred to Rayagada(200km 07-08 hrs journey).On arrive at Rayagada, check in to the hotel. Rest of the time is kept free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After having breakfast drive to Jhigidi traditional craftsman village. Also, visit Desia Kondh weekly market at Jhigidi which commence only on Tuesday. After lunch takes a soft walk on Niyamgiri hills to see the Dongariya Kondh hamlet. In the evening return back to the hotel at Rayagada.
Today, transfer to Chhatikona to visit Dongariya Kondh weekly market. Dongariya is once infamous for human sacrifice. In the morning Dongariyas trek down from the mountain with their forest produce to exchange with non-tribal is an interesting event to watch. Later drive further to Jeypore.
Today take a day return excursion to Onkudelli, visit the colorful market of Bonda, Gadaba, and Didayee. Later also visit Gadaba villages. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Transfer back to Rayagada stopping en-route to see Jagannath temple, a tribal museum at Koraput, the largest market of Paroja and Rana at Kunduli. Arrive at Rayagada and check in to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Today proceed to Gopalpur on sea visiting on the way Saura tribal villages & Taptapani Sulpher Spring. Arrive at Gopalpur on Sea and check in to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Today proceed for Puri visiting Chilka Lake and Raghrajpur painting village on the way. On arrival at Puri, check-in at the hotel. Later visit Jagannath temple from outside (Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple). Stay overnight at the hotel.
After having breakfast, drive to Bhubaneswar visiting Konark Sun Temple en-route (An UNESCO World Heritage Site). Also visit Pipili village, which is well-known for its patchwork. Finally, arrive at Bhubaneswar and check in to the hotel. Later take a tour of ancient Ling raja Temples. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast checkout, the hotel now drive toward Bhubaneswar airport/ railway station & return home with sweet memories of
