A famous pilgrim spot, Uwasaggharam Parshwa Teerth, founded in the year 1995 is Jain Temple lying in Nagpura. Besides the temple, the site is also home to a garden, temples, Yoga center and Guesthouse all built on the bank of River Sheonath. The most attractive feature of the temple is its 30 feet high entrance and Shri Parshwanaths statue. Holy water amiya passes out of the idol. The site is flocked with devotees in large numbers especially on full moon day. Tandula is a well-known dam of this region. It is located about 5 km away from Balod, in the district of Durg. The dam was constructed near the confluence of the SukhaNala and Tandula rivers and the construction work was completed in 1912.
