Dharamshala, Dalhousie 4 days Tour

Dharamshala (also spelled Dharamsala) Dharamshala is a municipal corporation city in the upper reaches of the Kangra Valley. Dharamshala also has several tea gardens and its tea, Dharamshala is very popular across India and the rest of the world.

Dalhousie is a hill station in Chamba district. This Town was named after The Earl of Dalhousie, who was the British Governor-General in India while establishing this place as a summer retreat.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Delhi – Dharamshala Via Volvo

Evening: Board an overnight Volvo bus from Delhi to Dharamshala. Enjoy a comfortable journey while taking in the scenic views of the countryside as you head towards the Himalayas.

Day 2: Kasol

Morning: Arrive in Dharamshala and check into your hotel. After freshening up, enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

Afternoon: Visit McLeod Ganj, the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Explore Tibetan monasteries, markets, and cafes.

Evening: Explore the local market, visit Bhagsu Nag Temple, or simply relax at your hotel.

Day 3: Dharamshala – Dalhousie

Morning: Check out from your hotel and drive to Dalhousie.

Afternoon: Arrive in Dalhousie, check-in to your hotel. Explore the charming colonial architecture of the town.

Evening: Enjoy a leisurely walk on the Mall Road or visit Subhash Bose Chair for panoramic views.

Day 4: Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Delhi

Morning: Visit Khajjiar, often called the Mini Switzerland of India. Enjoy boating, zorbing, or simply relax amidst nature.

Afternoon: Return to Dharamshala, and  then depart for Delhi by Volvo bus or cab.

Evening: Board an overnight Volvo bus to Delhi.
