Today morning arrival at Pune airport or railway station and drive to Ratnagiri. On arrival at Ratnagiri, check-in at the hotel. and after fresh up visit Ratnadurg Fort and Jaigad Fort. And overnight stay at the hotel.
Ratnadurg Fort is a horseshoe shape with a width of 1,000 meters and length of 1,300 meters. it is Overwhelmed by the charming Arabian Sea on the three sides, the fort offers an impressive look. Ratnadurg Fort was once a stronghold of the Maratha Empire. The Jaigad Fort is located at the tip of a peninsula in the district of Ratnagiri. The Fort is embraced on a rock face that overlooks a bay, which formed where the Shastri River enters the Arabian Sea.
Day 02: Ratnagiri (Beach Tour)
After breakfast, we will visit some beautiful beach of Ratnagiri including Ganpatipule Beach, and Mandavi Beach. We will also visit the Thibaw Point and come back to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
Mandvi Beach is a famous tourist spot and the most crowded beach in Ratnagiri that is blessed with a vast line of seashore right up to Rajiwanda Port. This beautiful beach is enclosed with the Ratnadurg fort from the west side.
Ganpatipule Beach is a clean and stunning beach with fine silvery-white sand. It is a good place to enjoy a holiday with family or friends and try hands at balancing a kayak for adventure lovers. The beach is not for swimming as it contains stretches of rocks. Thus, travelers can enjoy a cool breeze and a lively atmosphere at the beach shore. Thibaw Point is the point where Thebaw Palace, the lovely mansion, is situated. The palace was built in 1910 and is known as the shelter during the exile period of the king and the queen of Burma (Myanmar). The spot is perfect for picnickers and capturing the breathtaking views of the whole city.
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Pune and Drop Airport or Railway station for your onward destination.
