Puri in the state of Orissa is situated alongside the coast of Bay of Bengal. Puri is known as the resting place of Lord Shiva. Konark is a medium town in the Puri district in the state of Odisha, India. It lies on the coast by the Bay of Bengal, 60 kilometers from the capital of the state, Bhubaneswar. It is the site of the 7th-century Sun Temple, also known as the Black Pagoda, built in black granite during the reign of Narasimhadeva-I.
On arrival at Puri Railway Station / Airport & transfer to hotel at Puri, Then Darshan at Jagannath Temple. After that, you can Konark, Sun temple one of the world-famous heritage. On the way visit sightseeing Ramchandi temple
& Chandrabhaga beach. The beach has its own lovely serenity. After that visit Puri Town Gundicha Temple, Lokanath Temple, Sonar Gouranga Temple, Bedi Hanuman Temple). Overnight at Puri.
In the morning after breakfast check out the hotel proceeds to visit Bhubaneswar Dhauli Hills (Shanti Stupa) India’s famous Buddhist Hill Puri en-route visit on Pipili (the applique work village)& Bhubaneswar Sightseeing Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves ( oldest rock-cut caves, the caves are reminiscent of the influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Orissa). After that, you can visit famous city temples including Lingaraj, Mukteswar (known as the ‘gem of Orissan architecture’).Nadan Kanan Zoo (closed on Monday) – Toy train, Ropeway, Tiger Safari & Lion Safari.
In the evening transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport / Bhubaneswar Railway Station/ for onward or return journey.
