Amritsar, city in northern Punjab state, northwestern India. It lies about 15 miles (25 km) east of the border with Pakistan. Amritsar is the largest and most important city in Punjab and is a significant commercial, cultural, and transportation Centre. It is also the Centre of Sikhism and the site of the Sikhs’ principal place of worship—the Harmandir Sahib, or Golden Temple.
On arrival at Amritsar Airport /Railway station, our representative will drive you to hotel check-in at the hotel. After taking some rest, our representative will drive you to the Golden temple in the evening . Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast in the morning, you are going to visit Partition Museum. The Partition of India was one of the most defining events in the history of the subcontinent. It remains the largest mass migration in human history till now, millions. The Partition Museum is the world’s first museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. It is a People’s Museum that tells the stories of millions of people affected during the Partition through oral histories, personal artifacts, letters, photographs, and original documents. The Museum is housed in the Town Hall building, located a short walk from the Golden Temple at the beginning of the Heritage Street (opposite Brothers\’ Dhaba). Overnight stay at hotel.
