Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in Bharat till 1954, is currently a Union Territory city delimited by the southeastern Tamil Nadu state. Its French heritage is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas, and stylish boutiques. A seashore promenade runs on the Bay of geographical region and passes many statues, together with a 4m-high Gandhi Memorial.
On your arrival at Chenna Airport/Railway Station from there, you will meet and assist by our representative and transferred to the hotel and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast goes for the Chennai excursion, the Southern Gateway to India at its first sight will be all about culture and traditions. The excursion covers attractions are “Chennai St.Thomas Church, Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George Kapaleshwar Temple, the National Art Gallery, and drive past the Marina Beach.” Come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast Drive to Mahabalipuram and en-route visit the land of temples and silk saris beloved as Kanchipuram. The land of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu is known for its temples, silks, and amazing Dravidian architectural structures. Visit the Kanchipuram attractions like “Ekambareshwar Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Kamakshi Temple, and the Vaikunthaperumal Temple”. All the temples have been there since the 7th to 8th century. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Mahabalipuram the unique shore temples land is situated on the coastal plains of Bay of Bengal and is popular as the land of temples. Attractions not to miss at Mahabalipuram are “seven pagodas built shore temples, wavered by the waves of the ocean and the five rathas or chariots of temples”. The trip gets to its best during evening photography of the shore temples.
Pondicherry Excursion: - The Pondicherry attractions to explore after breakfast on the 5th day morning are “Vardaraja Perumal Temple, Vedapureeswarar Temple & Manakula Vinayagar Temple.” Later, drive to Thanjavur, and get transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Early morning breakfast, and drive to explore Thanjavur sightseeing. Apart from the entire Thanjavur sightseeing one need not miss is “Brahadeeswarar Temple”. Later, drive to Tiruchirapalli and on arrival check into your hotel and stay overnight.
Enjoy breakfast, and go for an outing at Tiruchirapalli. The remarkable attraction to capture is Ranganathan Temple at Srirangam. Later, drive to Madurai and on arrival check into your hotel.
After breakfast visit the Meenakshi Sundareswara Temple, Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Vandiyur Mariamman Tank, and later, fly to Chennai from Madurai. On arrival at Chennai airport, get a connected flight back to home with sweet memories of the tour.
