Known as “The City of Temples”, BHUBANESWAR is one of the most culturally effervescent cities in India. The state capital of Odisha is a sprawling metropolis that very ably preserves the balance between upholding olden values and cultural heritage on one hand and being able to conform to changing modern times on the other. Bhubaneswar is home to some of the finest temples including the Lingaraja Temple and Mukteswar Temple. Nearby places of interest include the sacred pilgrimage town of Puri and the quiet ocean-side village of Gopalpur-on-Sea. Other tourist attractions include the State Museum, Bindu Sarovara, and Nandan Kanan.
On arrival at Bhubaneswar airport from there, you will meet and assist by our
representative and now you will ready to Bhubaneswar. Check-in the hotel after some
rest and freshen proceeds to visit Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar. Overnight at
Bhubaneswar.
After breakfast at the hotel proceeds to Odisha sightseeing visit the diamond triangle of
Odisha - Ratnagiri has a rich concentration of Buddhist antiquities, Lalitgiri oldest
Buddhist center of Odisha & Udaigiri largest Buddhist complexes in Odisha. Return
back to Bhubaneswar. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
The morning after breakfast drive to Puri en-route visit Dhauli ( the peace pagoda ), Pipli
( the applique work village ) & Raghurajpur ( artisan village ). After that visit Jagannath
temple (non-Hindus are not allowed ) / Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at
Puri.
The morning after breakfast drive to Konark to visit the Sun temple ( one of the world-
famous heritage site ). Enroute visit to Ramchandi temple & Chandrabhaga beach.
Return back to Puri. Evening visit to the beach market. Overnight at Puri.
In the morning after breakfast at the hotel proceeds to visit Chilika lake at Barkul ( the
largest Ramsar site of Asia and famous for its migratory birds coming from distance
places ). After that take the boat cruise to visit the birds' island and temple island. In the
evening drive to Gopalpur. Overnight at Gopalpur.
Morning visit to Sonpur beach. Then drive back to Bhubaneswar and visit Khandagiri &
Udaigiri Jain caves ( oldest rock cut caves ). Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Check out from the hotel in the morning and transfer to airport for onward journey.
