Overview

Similipal National Park is a national park and a tiger reserve in the Mayurbhanj district in the Indian state of Odisha. It is part of the Similipal Kuldiha Hadgarh Elephant Reserve popularly known as Mayurbhanj Elephant Reserve, which includes three protected areas — Similipal Tiger Reserve (2750.00 km2),  Hadgarh  Wildlife Sanctuary (191.06 km2) and Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary (272.75 km2). Simlipal National Park derives its name from the abundance of Semul (red silk cotton trees) that bloom here. It is the 7th largest national park in India. Similipal, which derives its name from ‘Simul’ (Silk Cotton) tree, is a national park and a Tiger Reserve situated in the northern part of Orissa’s Mayurbhanj district. The tiger reserve is spread over 2750 sq km and has some beautiful waterfalls like Joranda and Barehipani.

Itinerary

Day 01: Balasore - Similipal Park

On arrival at the Balasore Railway Station from there, you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready to drive to Similipal Park (110km 03-04 hrs journey ) on arrival check-in the hotel and escorted to the Ramtirtha Forest LodgeNature Walk and Nature Study at Herbal Nursery then Visit Crocodile Breeding Farm, etc. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Similipal Park

After Breakfast proceeds to Barehipani and Joranda waterfalls, Jungle safari. and Gurguria Forest Lodge, or return to Ramtirtha Forest Lodge. Dinner and overnight stay in Forest Lodge (Ramtirtha/Gurguria)

Day 03: Similipal Park - Panchlingeshwar – Kuldiha

After breakfast at Ramtirtha/GurguriaDrive to Panchlingeshwar on the Nilagiri Hills, Balasore distrctCheck in at Panthasala LodgeVisit Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary, 272 sq. km wide variety of wildlife tiger, gaur, sambar, reptiles and birds, among other dinner and overnight stay at Panthasala Bhitarkanika are a group of islands in north-eastern Odisha (Orissa) yet unexplored, with trekking trails, unexplored beaches, and dense forests. The island also has a crocodile sanctuary. Look out for wildlife, small pools within the thick forest, and the ruins of a temple. Take a boat ride within the wildlife sanctuary.

Day 04: Similipal Park -Bhubaneswar

After breakfast checkout from the hotel now proceeds to Visit Nirmala Jhar temple, Narayani temple and Banpur Return to Bhubaneswar airport/  railway station (200  km 07-08 hrs journey )our representative will drop you at airport /railway station to catch onwards your flight/train & return to home with Sweet memories of   Odisha Wildlife Holidays Tour.
