It is located where the Mahanadi River passes through a 22 km long gorge in the Eastern Ghats mountains. The tiger reserve is located in the Eastern Highlands moist deciduous forests ecoregion. Bhitarkanika Mangroves is a mangrove wetland in Odisha, India, covering an area of 650 km in the Brahmani and Baitarani river deltas. Konark Sun Temple, located in the eastern State of Odisha near the sacred city of Puri, is dedicated to the sun God or Surya. It is a monumental representation of the sun god Surya’s chariot; its 24 wheels are decorated with symbolic designs and it is led by a team of six horses.
