Overview

Jammu and Kashmir:- Jammu is referred to as the City of Temples and the Gateway to Kashmir. True to its moniker, you’ll find numerous Hindu and Buddhist holy sites, like the Vaishno Devi Mandir, a shrine in the Trikuta Mountains that millions of pilgrims visit every year. It’s also the home of the Patnitop hill area, a celebrated attraction that tourists visit to admire and get lost in the grandeur of its lush landscapes. In the city proper, you’ll find more temples, shrines, palaces, and museums that house artifacts, artworks, and documents that chronicle the history of the land.

On the other hand, Kashmir is where you’ll find the country’s summer capital, Srinagar, a city famous for the majestic Dal Lake, the picturesque and Persian-influenced Mughal Gardens, and the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. The town of Gulmarg can also be found in the region and it is famous for being one of the prime winter sports destinations in India that can rival Switzerland’s Interlaken and for having the second-highest cable car ride in the world. Another popular area is the Pahalgam Valley where adventurers take a break from sightseeing to try out a fun and chill experiences like learning to ride ponies, playing golf, and strolling around the Baisaran Meadows.

These are ideal destinations in India for travelers looking to go on spiritual journeys bask in the resplendence of the country’s natural treasures, or partake in exhilarating activities that families and friends can enjoy it.

Highlights

  • Marsar Lake:- Marsar lakh one of the high-height lakes is a picturesque spot and is viewed as one of the best traveler goals in Pahalgam. The lake is 5 km far from Nagberan town. Marsar Lake close by Tarsar Lake makes up a testing trekking trail – however enterprise searchers can anticipate appreciating this entire tough yet hypnotizing scene. The Marsar Lake trek offers sightseers a look at the dazzling magnificence of Kashmir.
  • Tarsar Lake:- Tarsar Marsar is arguably the prettiest trek in India. This is a title we do not give treks lightly. Especially when it’s formidable sister trek, Kashmir Great Lakes, is in the picture. However, Tarsar Marsar is a trek where alpine lakes take a life of their own. It is not just the fact that you get to camp beside these royal blue, snow-fed lakes (you don’t get this camping chance even at KGL). Or the secluded nature of these campsites (a godsend in today’s trekking scenario!). You get to circumvent the entire perimeter of Tarsar and Sundersar, offering you multiple perspectives of the very same lake.
  • Sumbal :-Sumbal is a Town in Sumbal Block in Bandipora District of Jammu & Kashmir State, India. It is located 50 KM towards East from District head quarters Bandipora. It is a Block headquarter. Sumbal is surrounded by Kangan Block towards west, Gurez Block towards North, Ganderbal Block towards west, Koviripora Block towards South.
