A trek from Sonmarg to Gangabal that culminates in Naranag is distinctly popular. A clear water stream that flows beside the relics of a granite temple complex offers a scenic view. A less explored destination, Naranag though has the potential to become one of the hottest destinations that will enrich the memories of travel enthusiasts and adventure aficionados.
  • Gangabal Lake:-Description The Gangbal Lake also called Gangbal Lake, is a lake situated at the foothills of Mount Haramukh in Ganderbal district, north of Srinagar city in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is an alpine high altitude oligotrophic lake, home to many species of fish, including the brown trout.
  • Kolsar LekhThis is a smaller lake that comes before Gangabal. It is situated at the foothills of Harmukh. A beautiful lake with crystal clear water, the water from Gangabal flows into this lake and the waters of the two lakes together form the crank naaz stream. The Nundkol Lake lies at the foothills of Mount Haramukh (5,142m (16,870 ft)). The Gangabal Lake which is bigger and at higher elevation lies 1.5 km to the north of the lake. Surrounded by the lush green meadows, the banks of the Nundkol Lake serve as the camping site during the summers. Naranag is the nearest settlement and serves as the base camp for trekking to the lake.

Day01: Arrival in Srinagar.

On your arrival at the Srinagar International landing field, you may be taken for a thirty-five minutes drive through the center of the latest Srinagar town, passing the Abdullah bridge that connects the banks of the Jhelum watercourse. Proceed for Associate in Nursing hour of shikhara ride within the lake. Dinner and nightlong keep within the Hotel.

Day 02: Srinagar - Naranag – Butsheri -Trunkhul

After breakfast, we shall be driving through the villages of Ganderbal in the Sind valley and shall make it to Naranag. En RouteWe l also visit the 9th-century Buddhist temple. On the same day, we will start trekking from Naranag to Butcher. The trekking trail will pass through dense pine forests. Dinner and overnight at Trunkhol.

Day 03: Trunkhol - Gangabal

After breakfast, we shall be walking through the meadows of Budpathri. It is a flower-strewn path that leads to GangabalLake. We shall be camping overnight near Gangabal Lake.

Day 04: Gangabal Lake

After breakfast shall be enjoying sightseeing around Gangabal or take a walk to Kolsar Lake and try fishing. Dinner and overnight stay at the  Camp.

Day 05: Gangabal - Naranag - Srinagar

After breakfast, we will leave Gangabal and trek back to Naranag. We shall take the same route and cross through meadows ofBudpathri, Trunkhol and descend from Butsheri to reach Naranag. In the evening come back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at houseboat.

Day 06: Departure Day

After breakfast check out from the hotel and now ready drive back to Srinagar our representative will drop you at the airport/railway station to catch onwards your flight & return home with sweet memories of Naranag-GangabalTrekking tour.
