The Renuka Lake is in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is the largest lake in Himachal Pradesh, with the circumference of about 3214 m. This lake was named after the goddess Renuka. It is connected by road. the Boating is available on the lake. A lion safari & a zoo are there at Renuka.
The Five-day long International level Shri Renuka Ji fair begins with the arrival of son Lord Parshuram on the eve of Prabodhini Ekadashi, at Shri Renuka Ji the Lake in Himachal, Sirmour is the home of his divine mother Shri Renuka Ji. During five day fair, several lakhs of devotees from all over the country arrive here to witness the holy occasion of the divine meeting of Lord Parshum &his mother Renuka Ji.
On arrival at Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station meet our representative drive to Nahan. After some freshen up the drive to the sightseeing of Nahan Visit Rani Tal, Jaital Fort, Maa Bala Sundri Temple. Overnight stay at Nahan Hotel.
About Nahan:
Nahan was founded in 1621 by Maharaja Karam Prakash and this was the only state in present-day Himachal Pradesh whose ruler had the title of Maharaja. The remains of the original capital lie at Sirmauri Taal, near Paonta Sahib and this was destroyed in a flood, supposedly after being cursed by a dancing girl.
A laid-back attitude, a clean and dust-free atmosphere are the prime features of the Nahan.
After morning breakfast, leave for Reuukaji Lake & Renuka Zoo will visiting waterfalls enroute.Renuka is the largest natural lake in Himachal Pradesh and a very famous shrine of north India, besiege with dense Forest. Apart from being popular hill resort, Renuka has a Wildlife sanctuary which covers an area of about 30 sq. km. It is a great pleasure to have a glimpse of ‘Asiatic Lion‘. Apart from this, you can see a large number of Barking Deer, Black Bear, Barking Deer, Goral, Jackal and Leopard here.
After Breakfast our representative will drop you at Chandigarh Airport/ Railway station ( Approx. 02-hour journey) & return to home with sweet memories.
