Aizawl This is the largest city in the state. It is the seat of a rich tribal cultural extravaganza and is famous for its handicrafts and Aizawl is also the center of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly houses, and civil secretariat. Saiha is known as the fastest-growing town in Mizoram, as the population has significantly risen in the last decade. Saiha is a census town in the Saiha district in Mizoram located at an average height of 729 meters above sea level.

There is revealing the mystery behind the name of the town, the name of the town was originally Siaha where ‘Sia’ stands for elephant and ‘ha’ meaning tooth – An elephant tooth. But the Mizos traditionally call it Saiha.

Arrival at Aizawl

Aizawl to Saiha (301 km 10-11 hours)

In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Saiha. On arrival in Saiha, check into the hotel. An overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast we will be visiting Evangelical Church of Maraland is a Church in southern Mizoram in Northeast India. It was founded by English missionary Rev. & Mrs. Reginald Arthur Lorrain in 1907. It is the largest Church among Mara people. Baptist Church of Mizoram. Saiha to Aizawl (301 km 10-11 hours)

Aizawl – Champai Sightseeing

Post breakfast, drive to Champai. This town is located on the Indo-Myanmar border. After check-in the hotel and take pleasure in the natural setting of the place and enjoy the enchanting view of the Bilautaung Range of Burma. You may spend the remaining day at leisure. Take leisure walks down the streets. Return to your hotel in Champai for an overnight stay.

Aizawl – Kolasib ( 85 Km 03-04 hours)

In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Kolasib. On arrival in Kolasib, check into the hotel. An overnight stay at the hotel

River Twang:- The longest river in Mizoram that spreads to around 185 km, River Tlawng is surrounded by lush greenery all around and thus it is also one of the most beautiful spots in Kolasib. A visit to the river means surrounding yourself cool breeze along with the beauty of the flowing river is an experience that one should not miss. Fishing can be carried out at River Tlawng.

In the Afternoon after Lunch, we will be visiting Vairengte: -Vairengte is a great location for those who love the company of nature as it is, without any plasticity. It is located 130 km from Aizawl and is surrounded by green meadows, and hilly roads. It is a mesmerizing place as it is so quiet and calm. Return the hotel and overnight stay kolasib hotel.
