Overview

Leh is a town in Leh District  in the Ladakh  region of northern India, It was also the capital of the Himalayan kingdom of Ladakh, the seat of which was in the Leh Palace, the former mansion of the royal family of Ladakh, built in the same style and about the same time as the Potala Palace in Tibet. Leh is at an altitude of 3,524 meters (11,562 ft), and is connected via National Highway  to Srinagar  in the southwest and to Manali in the south via the Leh Manali Highway.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Leh

On arrival at Leh Airport, you will meet our representative and drive to Leh. Check in to
the hotel and some rest and Freshen up the drive to Local Sightseeing Of Leh visit Leh
Market. Overnight stay at Leh Hotel.

Day 02: Leh Local – Sightseeing:-

Morning After Breakfast in the hotel drive to the sightseeing of Local Leh Visit Shey
Palace, Hemis monasteries, Thiksey, Stok Palace Museum & Sindhu Ghat. Overnight
stay at Leh Hotel.

Day 03: Leh To Pangong Lake – Leh

After an early breakfast, we leave for Pangong Lake en-route visiting Shey Palace,
Enroute Visit 3 Idiots Rancho School & further 5 Kms Driving through a picturesque
landscape we reach Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above
the village. And en route towards the Changla Pass 17,586 feet third highest motorable
road in the world. The long easy ascent takes you will toChangla pass through its winding
roads passing through Sakti Village. This famous Pangong Lake is 5/6 Kms wide and
over 133 Kms long with half of it's running the other side of the " Indo China Border & quote;
You will feel close to nature and the environment and the scenery is unforgettable.
Overnight stay at Pangong Camps.

Day 4: Pangong Lake to Leh

Morning Breakfast at the Camps and come back to Leh Enroute visiting Hemis
monastery, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyut Order of Tibetan
Buddhism. Overnight stay at Leh Hotel.

Day 05: Leh–Nubra Valley Via Khardung -La

Morning Breakfast drives to Nubra Valley. Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung
La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 Ft, around 39 km

from Leh. Nubra Valley is known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the
north of Ladakh between the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges of the Himalayas. The
average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea overnight Stay at Nubra Valley.

Day 06: Nubra Valley – Leh

Morning Breakfast in the camps and drive to Hunder where you have the opportunity to ride on a (double humped) bacterian camel the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with Snow-capped mountains on the horizon. Between Diskit and Hunder you come across sand dunes besides the road and seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. When you will come back to Nubra to Leh enrout return at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Diskit Monastery is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. After sightseeing of Nubra Come Back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. Overnight stay at Leh Hotel.

Day 07: Leh-Tso Moriri

Morning Breakfast in the hotel drives to beautiful Tso Moriri Lake via Mahe Bridge. Situated the lake an altitude of 4,500 meters. The lake is 40km long. Overnight Stay in Camps at Tso - Moriri.

Day 08: Tso Moriri- Leh

Morning breakfast checks out of the Camp and proceeds towards Leh en-route visiting Tanglang-la pass, the second-highest motorable pass in the world at an altitude of 5,350 meters. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh Hotel

Day 09: Leh – Lamayuru- Uleytoko

Morning breakfast in the Hotel drive down the Indus valley on a tour of the Lamayuru circuit, Lamayure famous for the dramatically located ancient Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland’ features. After sightseeing of Lamayuru drive to Uleytokpo (60 km.) and check-in at a fixed camp / resort for overnight stay at Uleytoko.

Day 10: Uleytoko – Alchi-Sangam-Magnetic Hills

Morning Breakfast in the hotel drive towards Leh, en-route visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. After that visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Hill Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

Day 11: Leh– Departure:-

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and get driven to Leh Airport for onward journey. The journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
