And recent 6th August 2019 announcement by Amit Shah, Home Minister of India, “The Ladakh Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir has a large area but is sparsely populated with very difficult terrain. There has been a long pending demand of the people of Ladakh and to give it the status of a Union Territory to enable them to realize their aspirations. The Union The territory of Ladakh will be without Legislature and Ladakh became a New Union Territory of India.
Ladakh is a mountainous region and the very coldest desert in the world.
In Ladakh, nature has rendered a magical, fantastic landscape and Most unbelievable and which is extremely breathtaking.
Ladakh lies in the north-east region of India and is surrounded by the world’s highest mountain ranges, Karakoram and Great Himalayas. The Ladakh district occupied China in the north and Kashmir in the west and Ladakh is an exotic and famous destination considered as the highest plateau lying at an altitude of 9, 800 ft. Ladakh is the 3rd province of Kashmir Valley. The population of Ladakh is about 2, 60,000 which contain a mixture of many different ethnic groups, predominantly Tibetans, Dards, Monpas, Muslims. Before 6th August 1979, the Ladakh District was divided into Leh District (mostly occupied by Tibetan Buddhist) and Kargil District (mostly occupied by Shia Muslims). But Recent Ladakh is the Union Territory state of India. And Leh is the capital of Ladakh. There are two regions in Ladakh, they are Leh and Kargil.
On arrival at Leh Airport, you will meet our representative and drive to Leh. Check in to the hotel and some rest and Freshen up the drive to Local Sightseeing Of Leh visit Leh Market. Overnight stay at Leh Hotel.
Morning Breakfast we will proceed for Indus Valley Monastery Start with Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism and After that visit Thiksey Monastery an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, and Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh, Sindhu Ghat ,3 Idiots Rancho School and After that visiting above places we drive back to Leh. Dinner & Overnight at the Leh Hotel.
Morning breakfast you drive to sham Valley on the way – Kargil Highway. Enroute you will visit Hall of fame must-visit for every Indian ( constructed by Indian army) and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, After drive of another 5 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River, Just before Saspol a road to the right takes you for your visit to the Likir Monastery, Likir is one of the oldest & active monasteries in the region . After visiting the Monastery you will to the River Indus to Uletokpo en-route visiting Alchi Monastery the only monastery build in Indian form of structure and is known as 1st wonder of J&K state. After visiting the above places we drive further and check in at our camp/hotel for overnight stay and dinner at Sham Valley.
Morning breakfast in the hotel you will drive to Kargil enroute we will visit the 11th century Lamayuru Monastery Enroute visiting the mesmerizing MOON LANDSCAPES (you will believe why the name of this area is Moonland. Exactly the same formations of Land are visible as on the moon and Later Drive to KARGIL over Fatu-la (13,489 ft) which is the highest pass of the Srinagar – Leh road. Arrival in Kargil we will check in at our Hotel Overnight stay at Kargil hotel.
Morning breakfast in the hotel drives towards Rangdum. Rangdum Village is an elliptical expanded plateau that is situated midway between Padum andK Kargil. Located 130 km south-east of Kargil, in the beautiful Suru Valley in Leh District, Rangdum is surrounded by steep hills, pastures, streams, and rocky mountains. Being the farthest region of the Suru Valley at an altitude of 3657 meters, it has evolved with a wild beauty. This place is known for an old monastery and which is one of the most revered Buddhist places in Leh-Ladakh. On Arrival, at Rangdum we check in at our Camp, Hotel and Guest House for Overnight stay.
Drive to Padum, Padum the capital of the ancient kingdom of Zanskar, Padum (3505 m) is the present-day administrative headquarters of the region. With a population of nearly approx. is 1500, Padum can be described as the most populous settlement of Zanskar, otherwise a very scarcely inhabited valley. On way to Padum, we Will visit the Sani Monastery, of Ladakh, belongs to the southern branch of the Drukpa Kagyupa School. It is situated approx. 6 km to the west of Padum. Sani Monastery of Ladakh has been built in parts and each dating back to a different century. Arrival in Padum we check in at our Camp or Hotel for Overnight stay.
After Breakfast leave for Full Sightseeing of Karsha & Bardhan. The Karsha Monastery of Ladakh is situated in the Karsha village of the Zanskar region (9 km long link road, across an iron bridge over the Stod river). It was Built picturesquely along the steeply rising mountainside above Karsha village, the monastery can be seen from far. After visiting Karsha we will proceed to further towards Bardan Gompa is a 17th-century Buddhist monastery. approx 12 kilometers south of Padum, in Zanskar, Ladakh, northern India. The Bardan monastery of Ladakh is standing atop a rocky crag, belongs to the Dugpa-Kargyud monastic order and was one of the first monasteries of this sect to be established in Zanskar. After visiting the monasteries we drive back to our Camp. Dinner & Overnight stay at Camps or Hotel.
Morning breakfast in the hotel we will Drive to The monastery of Stongdey lies 18-km to the north of Padum, on the road leading to Zangla or an old foundation associated with the Tibetan Yogi & Marpa and Stongdey is now the second-largest monastic establishment of Zanskar, inhabited by the resident community of about 60 Gelukpa monks. After visiting above monastery we drive further towards Zangla, Lying deep in the northern arm of Zanskar at the end of the 35 km. The long rough road from Zangla, Padum was being ruled by a titular king till his death a few years back. After visiting monasteries we drive back to our Camp. Dinner & Overnight stay at Camps or Hotel.

Morning breakfast we will check out from the Hotel and Drive back to Leh en-route visiting Mulbek and visit the Alchi Gompa. Overnight stay at Leh Hotel.
After breakfast, check-out form the hotel and our driver will drop you Leh Airport for onward journey. The journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
