Highlights

  • Nishat garden:- Nishat Garden is the largest one of the Mughal gardens in Kashmir. It is situated on the banks of the picturesque Dal Lake. Also known as "the garden of bliss", the Nishat gardens have the Zabarwan Mountains forming its backdrop. Asaf Khan, the brother of Nur Jahan, designed the Kashmir Nishat Bagh in 1633 AD. Within the garden are ruins of some of the buildings dating back to the Mughal period. One of them is a double story pavilion enclosed on two sides with latticed windows. There is also a small spring behind the garden, known as Gopi Tirth. It is a source of supply of crystal clear water to the garden.
  • Shalimar Bagh:- The garden covers an enormous 31 acres plot along the Dal Lake. Shalimar Bagh is a typical Mughal garden with three terraces which follows a Persian garden layout on 31 acres of plot with 587 m of length and 251 m of depth. The garden is constructed on flat land close to Dal Lake with a rectangular central layout with four radiating arms. Shah Nahar is the main water channel in Shalimar which runs from the higher or top terraces to the lower or bottom terraces of the garden.
  • Yusmarg:- Yusmarg is approximately 47 km from the Srinagar and lies in the Badgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The two-hour drive to the place is an enjoyment in itself. Grassy pastures stretching to acres of land, the dense forests full of pine trees, with the backdrop of splendid snow-capped mountains leave you almost speechless. Within commutable distance from Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, Yusmarg is the perfect place to go for a picnic. It is possible that after reaching this place, you may want to even stay for a few days. Day1 : Arrival in Srinagar

On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river. After some rest, a day of local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Day2 :Srinagar - Yusmarg

After breakfast, set out for an excursion to Yusmarg. Yusmarg, the meadow of Jesus is an alpine valley located in Badgam district and covered by snow-clad mountains and meadows of pine and fir. This valley mesmerizes tourists with its natural beauty. This is also popular for horse riding, fishing and for skiing during winter. After spending some quality time, return back to Srinagar for overnight stay.

Day 03: Srinagar - Sonamarg

After breakfast verify from the building and current income to 'meadow of gold’ Sonmarg. The quick flowing Sindh stream makes it widespread for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. you'll be able to prefer a pony ride to at least one of the glaciers for a few fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). come back to the Srinagar night stay at Srinagar hotel.

Day 04 Srinagar - Gulmarg
