Kanker District is located in the southern region of the state of Chhattisgarh, India within the longitudes 20.6-20.24 and latitudes 80.48-81.48. The total area of the district is 5285.01 square kilometers. The population is 651,333. Happily take a short visit to Raipur’s Mahant Ghasidas Museum before leaving for the former princely State of Kanker. On your arrival at Kanker Palace, the Maharaja’s family will greet you and show you to your suite. Have some drinks and then dinner, meet and interact with the royal family members who will explain the folklore and the traditions of the state. Constructed in the first half of the 19th century and then reconstructed in a garden in the year 1937, Kanker Palace was originally known as Radhanivas Bagicha. During the British Raj, it was the residence of the British Agent. It later became the home of the royal family of the region.
On arrival at Raipur Airport/ Railway Station, you will meet and assist by our representative now ready to drive toward Kanker (130km 04-05 hrs journey). On arrival check-in, the hotel takes some rest. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
