Nagaland is a state in northeastern India. The state capital is Kohima and the largest the city is Dimapur.There are 16 inhabitant tribes in this state:- Angami, Ao, Chakhesang, Chang, Kachari, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Kuki, Lotha, Phom, Pochury, Rengma, Sangtam, Sumi, Yimchunger, and Zeme-Liangmai (Zeliang). Each tribe is unique in a character with its own distinct customs, language, and dress. Mount Saramati is that the highest peak at three,840 meters and its range forms a natural barrier between Nagaland and Burma. Nagaland is home to the Bhut Jolokia or ghost pepper, one of the hottest chilis in the world at 855,000 SHU on the Scoville scale. All the tribes of Nagaland have their own cookery, and that they use a great deal of meat, fish, and fermented products in their dishes.
