Overview

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

This charming little Tashi View Point is a perfect place to witness the brilliant surroundings like mountains, valleys, and Gangtok itself. This famous tourist point is located at a distance of 8 km from the town and is mostly known for offering some of the best sunrise and sunset views. One can witness the changing of colors of the Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu Peaks as the sun slowly moves from this viewpoint along with a glimpse of famous monasteries of Gangtok, Phodong and Labrang. Tourists can enjoy refreshing drinks while relishing the stunning panorama and can also buy souvenirs from the shops set up here. Day 01 : Siliguri Bagdogra to Gangtok (135 km Approx 04- - 05 hours):

Arrive in our representative at Bagdogra Airport or Siliguri (NJP) railway station, who will take your vehicle to Gangtok (5500 ft / 1677 m, 130 km / 04 to 05 hrs). Leaving Siliguri, we drive through the natural forests of the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, wild elephants, tigers, and deer. Sevak comes with his promises for a grand view of the river Teesta as it originates from the deep gorge of the Himalayas and spreads over the vast plains of northern Bengal. A picturesque drive from Tista Bazar to the Gangtok capital of Sikkim via winding roads and the Himalayan hills is visible.

Day 02 : Gangtok Sightseeing:

After breakfast, we will enjoy the local tourist places around Gangtok which include Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok. These views offer panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks and the city of Gangtok. visit the Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetan Sciences to get a glimpse of Tibetan Antiquities, Orchid House, Enchai Math, Dodural Chaotic etc. In the evening travel to the busy market of MG Marg, Gangtok.

Day 03 : Gangtok -Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir:

Your breakfast after morning for a memorable excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 39 km). After breakfast, this beautiful oval-shaped lake with the highest altitude Himalayan Lake 50 feet to about 01 km in the East Sikkim Himalayas. situated at. At a distance of 15 km from here, Baba will go to the temple. Depending on the accessibility of the route, the Nathula Pass (12,000 ft) can be driven towards the China border. We will be back to Gangtok by late afternoon. M. Popular shopping area in Gangtok. The evening is free to roam the Zee Marg. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 04: Gangtok to Lachen (120 km 05 hours):

We will go to Lachen after breakfast. We will proceed through small villages where there are valleys in the forest of Kabi Langchuk. Shanghai comes up with his promise of one of the most brilliant ideas of Kanchenjunga. Located at an altitude of 4000 feet, the passengers take a desired rest on the way to Singhik, Lachen. We will have lunch on the way. Visit Chungthang - The confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachen Chu (river) and Vimanala waterfalls on the way to Lachen. Arrive Lachen in the late afternoon. Lachen is also a base of the popular Green Lake trek.

Day 05: Excursion Gurudongmar. Lachen to Lachung (50 km/ 2 hrs):

After breakfast in the morning, the high-altitude village of Thangu, the remote high-altitude village of Thangu village, a morning drive of 7100 m / 13450 ft, the Chopta valley leads for 4000 m / 13124 ft and takes a view of the Alpine valley of the frozen rivers. Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest and largest freshwater lakes in Sikkim, from 5225 m / 17143 ft close to the Tibet border for another 30 km in 1.5 km in Chopta Valley
Check out of Lachen and proceed through Chungthang to Lachung. On the way, the Chungthang Sangam of Lachen Chu and Lachen Chu and Vimanala Falls are visited. Check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in at hotel.

Day 06 : Lachung to Yumthang - Gangtok (24 km 01 Hour)

Morning breakfast followed by the morning drive to the Yumthang Valley, an Alpine flower valley in North Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic landscape and hot spring and come for 30kms via Yumesamdong (4725m / 15503ft) or Zero Point close to the Tibet border, Sikkimfull Day is one of the most traveled roads in the Yamthang Valley. This valley is covered with snow from January to March and rhododendron during April and May. Visit Sulfur Hot Spring with medicinal values. Lunch at the hotel in Lachung. After lunch the Handicrafts Center and Lachung Monastery. Later go back to Gangtok, come to Gangtok in the evening and check into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 07: Gangtok to Siliguri/Bagdogra (135 km 04 - 05 hours):

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Siliguri (NJP)/ Bagdogra (IXB) via the same route for your onward journey with happy memories to cherish.
