Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in Asian country till 1954, is currently a Union Territory city delimited by the southeastern state state. After breakfast go for Chennai excursion, the Southern Gateway to India at its first sight will be all about culture and traditions. The excursion covers attractions are “Chennai St.Thomas Church, Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George Kapaleshwar Temple, the National Art Gallery, and drive pass the Marina Beach.” Come back to hotel for an overnight stay.
Kanchipuram Attractions & Drive to Mahabalipuram: - Drive to Mahabalipuram and en-route visit the land of temples and silk saris beloved as Kanchipuram. The land of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu is known for its temples, silks, and amazing Dravidian architectural structures. Visit the Kanchipuram attractions like “Ekambareshwar Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Kamakshi Temple, and the Vaikunthaperumal Temple”. All the temples have been there since 7th to 8th century.
Mahabalipuram Sightseeing: - Mahabalipuram the unique shore temples land is situated on the coastal plains of Bay of Bengal and is popular as the land of temples. Attractions not to miss at Mahabalipuram are “seven pagodas built shore temples, wavered by the waves of the ocean and the five rathas or chariots of temples”.
Pondicherry Excursion: - The Pondicherry attractions to explore after breakfast at the 5th day morning are “Vardaraja Perumal Temple, Vedapureeswarar Temple & Manakula Vinayagar Temple.” Later, drive to Thanjavur, and get transferred to hotel for an overnight stay.
