The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off-limits to visitors. There are 572 islands in the territory having an area of 8,249 km2 (3,185 sq mi). Of these, about 38 are permanently inhabited. The islands extend from 6° to 14° North latitudes and from 92° to 94° East longitudes. The Andamans are separated from the Nicobar group by a channel (the Ten Degree Channel) some 150 km (93 mi) wide. The highest point is located in North Andaman Island (Saddle Peak at 732 m (2,402 ft)). The Andaman group has 325 islands which cover an area of 6,170 km2 (2,382 sq mi) while the Nicobar group has only 247 islands with an area of 1,765 km2 (681 sq mi). The Andaman Islands are home to the Sentinelese people, an uncontacted people. The Sentinelese are the only people currently known to not have reached further than a Paleolithic level of technology.
Viper Island is an island of the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the South Andaman district of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The island lies 4 km west of Port Blair

Today once breakfast, begin for a Full day excursion to Viper Island ,is located at the mouth of Port Blair’s harbour and twenty minutes away from Port Blair. This island, meet sixty nine acres encompasses a crescent form and is close to the Haddo Wharf. The name of this island is unbroken once the name of the vessel within which Lt. Archibald blair came to Andaman and Nicobar within the year 1789. In Viper Island you'll be able to visit Water Sports Complex( This Complex offers numerous styles of water sports like paddle yachting, soaring, kayaking and water sport.),Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park(is settled at a distance of regarding three.3 km from the Viper Island on the south-west coast of Andaman), Jarwa Reserve( is among the regions of Andaman Islands that are reserved by the govt of Asian nation for the Jarwa tribes in Andaman)and Water sports like skin-dive and snorkelling are often tired the deep waters of the Viper Island.
