Zuluk is an abode of peace. Zuluk is situated at an altitude of around 10,000 ft above the sea level and perched on the rugged terrain of the lower Himalayas in East Sikkim, Zuluk is a hamlet close to Indo-China border. Zuluk is located on the famous Old-Silk-Route. The best time to visit Zuluk during August and September, Zuluk is drenched is a riot of colours of wildflowers. The whole region is covered in various wildflowers. Zuluk January to April Zuluk is covered in snow. Zuluk is the rainy season of May to July is usually foggy but the rest of the year it has nice sparkling weather. There is a need for permits to visit Zuluk and to make permits. You need to carry passport size photos and photo ID proof (in original) to get your permit. While approaching from Gangtok, you can get this permit from Sikkim Tourism Office at Gangtok. You can get it done through any registered local tour operator in Gangtok. And Nathang Valley ( Old – Silk – Route) Gnathang Valley or Nathang Valley is popularly called the “ Ladakh of East India”. Situated at the height of 13,500 ft. above the sea level, Nathang Valley is one of the most beautiful places in Old-Silk-Route.
After your arrival at the Bagdogra Airport/NJP railway station from, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to the small village of Sillery Gaon. Sillery is located at the height of 6000 ft above sea level, the scenic village is situated in the middle of a forest with a beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga mountain. Overnight at Sillery Gaon.
After breakfast at the hotel proceeds to Zuluk. Enroute covering Rongli (for inner line permit) Lingtam, Kuekhola falls. Lunch at Zuluk. Overnight stay at Lower Zuluk (Phadamchen).
After breakfast at the hotel, start from Lungthung for the Silk Route Trail and enjoy the beauty of Thambi viewpoint, Laxmi Chowk, Nathang valley, Tukla valley, Kalapokhri, Old Baba Mandir, Jeelep-La Pass and reach Kupup. Visit Elephant lake at Kupup. See the world’s highest Golf course, The Yak golf course at 13,025 ft(Guinness Book of World Records acclaimed). And see also the Ice hockey ground and the water polo pool at Kupup (depends on permission), back to Lower Zuluk and night stay.
After breakfast at the proceeds to Aritar and Visit Lampokhri & Aritar lake. The highest boating lake in the Sikkim. And also visit Dakbanglow at Aritar. Stay at Aritar/Reshikhola.
Last day after breakfast check out the Reshikola hotel and leaving for catching your return flight/train, bringing the experience to an end.
