Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in Bharat till 1954, is currently a Union Territory city delimited by the southeastern Tamil Nadu state. Its French heritage is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas, and stylish boutiques. A seashore promenade runs on the Bay of geographical region and passes many statues, together with a 4m-high Gandhi Memorial.
On arrival at the Chennai Airport, from there you will meet and assist by our representative and drive towards Pondicherry. After arriving in Pondicherry, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast drive to visit Auroville. It is an experimental township which came into existence in 1968, through the joint vision of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Explore Auroville and learn everything that it stands for. Your next stop is Eglise de Sacre Coeur De Jesus, which is one of the most popular churches in Pondicherry. Built between the 17th and 18th centuries, it amazes onlookers with its marvelous Gothic architecture characterized by spires and stained glass windows. Later, in the afternoon; head off to the beaches for some relaxation and entertainment. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
