Darjeeling is a town in India’s West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It’s famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks. Maney Bhanjyang is a small transit-town in the Darjeeling Sadar subdivision, Darjeeling district in the state of West Bengal in India. It is located at the gateway of the Singalila National Park, 28 km away from Darjeeling town. The income of the local residents is geared towards tourism, especially foreign trekkers.
In the morning, transfer to the airport and take a flight to Bagdogra airport where you will be received by our representative and drive towards Darjeeling.Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can explore the scenic hill-town and acclimatize to the environment over there. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
In the early hour of the morning visit the tiger hill for viewing the spectacular sunrise on the snow-clad Kanchanjunga peak. Then visit the ancient Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast drive to Maneybhanjang with our guide. This is the starting point of the trek as you climb uphill for nearly 06 hours. The trail passes through a tiny hill village of Chitre and moves through the forests blooming with vibrant hues of Rhododendron and magnolias Dinner and Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast drive to Siliguri, New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) -- Nearly 70 km 03 - 04 hours’ Journey. Return home with sweet memories of the tour.
