In the morning 03:30 - 3:45 am drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view Sunrise over Kanchendzonga mountain & visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia LoopBack to hotel for breakfast - sightseeing - Half Day city sightseeing - Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate (Garden), Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda - back to hotel – evening free - overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast at the hotel proceeds to visit Mirik (60 km 01-02 hours’ drive). The drive is through scenic roads with an occasional stoppage for photography. Mirik is centered round Samendu Lake and is known for its landscaped gardens, tea gardens, orange orchards, cardamom groves and spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges - Full day excursion tour of Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boating facilities are available around the lake. This is a high altitude lake is worth visiting. One can also visit Pashupatinagar Market in Nepal on the way back to Darjeeling. In the evening explore the mall & Local market area. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast at the hotel drive Kalimpong ( 65 kilometers 01-02 hours Journey ). Kalimpong is situated on the foothills of the Himalayas is a green destination at an altitude of 1243 meters / 4078 feet. It is a historical destination with a bustling market, colorful people and offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range . Check in the hotel and drive for sightseeing tour through scenic road to Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr Graham Homes, Durbin Monastery, Mangal Dham, Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only). In the evening explore Local market area. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
After Breakfast Check out the hotel transfer to Nepal – India border Kakarbhitta / Bhadrapur Airport (BDP) Nepal / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB)and Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) Siliguri - for onward journey.
