Pathankot, one of the largest cities in the state of Punjab, serves as the headquarters of the district of Pathankot. Located in the foothills of Kangra and Dalhousie, this city is the gateway to the Himalayan mountain range. A lot of tourists stop here before heading to the Himalayas. Pathankot, prior to 1849, was a part of Nurpur – a kingdom ruled by the Pathania clan. Tourist Places in and around Pathankot there are several sights in and around the city that are part of itineraries of Pathankot tourism, such as the Nurpur Fort that was built by the Pathania Rajputs more than 900 years ago. Apart from this, the Shahpurkandi Fort, Shiva Temple Kathgarh and Jugial Township are popular among tourists. Jwalaji and Chintpurni are popular weekend getaways that tourists can visit during their Pathankot holidays.
On arrival Dalhousie airport / Railway Station from there you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready to “Hit the Queen of Hills and start your tour from Pathankot, drive to Dalhousie.
After Breakfast start tour drive to Khajjiar, where you can enjoy Horse riding (Optional) and enjoy the sceneries.
After Breakfast start your tour Bhagsu Nag Temple, and then we visit Norbulingka Institute which is perhaps one of its best in the world. This institute has its own temple, Museum, Meditation Hall. After proceed to Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts evening the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at leisure.
After breakfast proceeds to market visit Residential school run by Tibetan refugees, we would also visit the Tibetan crafts village and attend the Tibetan culture show at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (ITPA).
After breakfast at the hotel our representative will meet you and now ready drive to Pathankot on arrival Pathankot Airport/ Railway station to catch onwards your train & return to home with sweet memories of Pathankot, Dalhousie, Dharamshala tour.
