Diu is a coastal town at the eastern end of Diu Island, India. A bridge connects the island to the state of Gujarat. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Diu Fort, 16th-century Portuguese citadel, features a lighthouse and cannons. Inland, centuries-old St. Paul’s Church was built in elaborate baroque style. Nearby, whitewashed St. Thomas Church is now home to the Diu Museum, with wooden carvings & religious artifacts.
On arrival at Rajkot Airport/railway station from there, you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready to drive to Diu (231 km, 05 - 06-hour journey). Traveling to Diu is very exciting as it covers a few popular travel destinations on the way on arrival at Diu check in to hotel dinner & an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to sightsee tour of Diu. You will visit places like Bunder Chowk, and St. Paul's Church. Later you will visit the Nagoa and the Jallandhar beach, two of the popular tourist attractions. After that, you will visit Gir National Park via Somnath. After paying homage, continue to Gir. On arrival at Gir check in hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will proceed for an exciting wildlife safari inside the Gir National Park, famous for being the only home of the ferocious Asiatic lions. Gir is one of the oldest wildlife reserves in the country. It was blessed with diverse flora and fauna. The park has 300 species of birds, 38 mammal species, about 37 species of reptiles and over 2,000 kinds of insects. Later come back to the hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Rajkot airport / Railway Station (168 Km 04 – 05 Hrs) with Sweet memories of Diu & Gir Holiday Tour.
