Sikkim is the state in northeastern India. It is the borders Tibet in the north & northeast, Bhutan in the east, Nepal in the west, and West Bengal in the south. Sikkim is the also located close to India’s Siliguri Corridor near to Bangladesh. Sikkim is the least of populous & second smallest among the Indian states. The famous Ganesh Tok or Temple is located on a hill in the Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The Sikkim is not only famous for its amazing natural beauty, but also for various prominent pilgrimage destinations. The whole Sikkim is divided into 4 districts or zones East, West, North and South. East Sikkim is headquartered at Gangtok (also the capital of the state), West Sikkim at Geyzing (also known as Gyalsing) with Pelling and Pemayangtse being the two places of central attractions, North Sikkim is headquartered at Mangan (Lachung with Yumthang Valley and Lachen with Gurudongmar Lake being the two main attractions of the zone) and South Sikkim at the religious & cultural hub Namchi. There are numerous magnificent places to visit in each of these zones.
