Diu is a coastal town at the eastern end of Diu Island, India. A bridge connects the island to the state of Gujarat. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Diu Fort, 16th-century Portuguese citadel, features a lighthouse and cannons. Inland, centuries-old St. Paul’s Church was built in elaborate baroque style. Nearby, whitewashed St. Thomas Church is now home to the Diu Museum, with wooden carvings & religious artifacts.
On arrival at Jamnagar Airport/Railway Station from there, you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready & Drive to Dwarka (131 km, 02-03 hours’ journey) Check in to the hotel & rest. After that, you will visit Lakhota Lake and Lakhota Museum. Then you visit the Bala Hanuman temple. Later return to hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After Breakfast, you will visit the mystical temples of Somnath via Porbandar (4 Hours 20 Mins / 235km). In Porbandar, you will be taken to one of the most famous sights, i.e. the Tara Mandir planetarium. Being the delivery location of Sudama this region holds a lot of importance another site visit will be to Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Bhalka Tirtha temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. On arrival at Somnath check in hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After Breakfast, you will visit Aarti at Somnath temple and experience spirituality in its purest form. You will then be served breakfast & check out from the hotel. After that, you will start your travel for Diu (1 Hour 40 Mins / 77km), an island off the Southern coast of Gujarat and a part of Daman and Diu union territory. Upon arrival, you will be immediately checked into a hotel where you can relax. In the evening you will be taken for brief sightseeing to st. paul’s church and Nagoa Beach. Dinner & overnight stay.
After Breakfast, you will visit sightseeing and taking in the scenic beauty of Diu. You will visit fort Diu, st. paul’s church and Naida caves. You will also be exploring a number of serene beaches. Dinner & Overnight stay in the Hotel.
After Breakfast check out from the hotel & you will visit Sasan Gir (2 Hours / 66km). The countrywide national park is known all over the world because of its population of Asiatic lions among other wild animals and migratory birds. The national park is open from 16th October to 15th June. After completing all the sites and going around in safari you will stop there for a night halt. Dinner & Overnight stay in the Hotel.
After breakfast checks out from hotel and drives to Jamnagar (230 km 05-06 hour journey) our representative will drop you at Jamnagar (airport/railway station & return home with sweet memories of Diu Tour.
