Overview

Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.

Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Chandigarh

On arrival at Chandigarh Airport/ Railway station, our representative will drive you to Farmhouse in Mohali check-in a farmhouse. After taking some rest, our representative will drive you to explore different activities namely; a visit to typical Punjabi cattle shed, watching birds and animals like pigeons, rabbits, and poultry in their natural habitat, explore the real agriculture practices like harvesting of wheat and paddy, jaggery making, etc.

Day 02: Chandigarh - Shimla

After breakfast in the morning, our representative will drive you to Shimla now you will ready to “Hit the Queen of Hills “Shimla (120 km, 03-04 hours journey). Traveling to Shimla is very exciting as it covers a few popular travel destinations on the way on a reach at Shimla check in to the hotel Shimla. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 03: Shimla -Kufri – Chail -Shimla

After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet and assist by our representative and proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Kufri:

After that moves to Chail: Is (49 km) from Shimla.
Chail Place is well known for its architecture. The cricket ground and a polo ground which is on the high altitude of 2,444 m.It is the world's highest cricket ground. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel at Shimla.

Day 04: Shimla Local & Advance Study

After breakfast at the hotel proceeds to full-day sightseeing tour of local Shimla and drive to visit Indian Institute of Advanced Study” State Museum was known as the Viceregal Lodge at that time. There are a lot of historic decisions, including the Shimla Conference of 1945 and the Separation of Pakistan and East Pakistan in 1947, have been taken in this building.
The history of this learning center is more than 100 years old. IIAS was originally built as a home for Lord Doffing, who was the Viceroy of India during the years 1884 and 1888.
The afternoon moves to Jakhoo Temple. It is situated on Jakhoo Hill Shimla at a height of 2,455 m above sea level in the evening explore the local market and enjoy walk on Mall road.

Day 05: Shimla - Arrive Amritsar

After breakfast in the morning, our representative will drive you to Amritsar check-in at the hotel. After taking some rest, you are going to visit the Golden Temple. Don’t miss out on shopping for some good stuff from the local markets. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Amritsar

After breakfast in the morning, you are going to visit the Durgiana temple, morning darshan of Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh, Wagah -the Indo-Pak Border, to witness the famous march. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07: Amritsar

After breakfast in the morning, you are going to visit auspicious Taran Taran Sahib, a majestic Gurudwara comprising of holy water known for its healing powers, visit religious depot of Goindwal Sahib, known for providing complete liberation on the recitation of Jap Ji Sahib after each stair, comprising a total of 84 stairs in all. Return back to Amritsar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Amritsar Departure
