Overview

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Itinerary

Day 01: Bagdogra International Airport / Jalpaiguri railway station

On arrival Bagdogra International Airport/ Jalpaiguri railway station from there, you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready to Gangtok. On the way, you can see tea plantations. Dinner and Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 02 Gangtok to Zuluk, Nathang Valley, Kupup Lake

After breakfast, you can go for full day sightseeing Zuluk. Lungthung, Nathang Valley, and Kupup. The drive will be to a higher altitude. There is one most popular place Rongli for permit and documentation. Next is Lungthung, Gnathang Valley, Tukla Valley. There is a war memorial built to commemorate the death of the British soldier. The Yak Golf Course is the highest golf course. Come back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 03 Departure Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport / Jalpaiguri Railway Station

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to the airport.
