Barsur Village, the throne of power for Gangawanshi rulers in 840 AD, is located on the banks of river Indravati. This village famously known as the city of temples and ponds is adorned with a total of 147 temples and 147 ponds. Along with the ruins of various temples, the Battista Temple, Mama-Bhanjaa Temple and you can also be visited Chandraditya. This Temple is crafted out of sandstone is a major attraction here. Bailadila Mountain range consists of 14 reserves with 3 underminings. Resembling oxen humps, this range has thus been named BailaDila housing the topmost peak at Akash Nagar. However, permissions must be obtained from NMDC (National Mineral Development Corporation) to visit this mining site.
