Highlights

  • Nishat Bagh:- Nishat Bagh is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close to Srinagar in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake.
  • Kheer Bhawani Darshan:- The mention of Kheer Bhawani is found in Kalhana's Rajtarangini. Kalhana writes that the sacred spring of Tula Mula is situated in marshy ground. The name of the spring is Mata Ragini Kund. Maharani is the form of Durga Bhagvati. The Brahmins of Kashmir worship this spring and pilgrims from every comer of the country visit to have the darshan of the place.
  • Manasbal:- The lake is a good place for bird watching as it is one of the largest natural stamping grounds of Aquatic birds in Kashmir and has the sobriquet of "supreme gem of all Kashmir Lakes". The rootstocks of lotus plant which grows extensively in the lake are harvested and marketed, and also eaten by the local people.
  • Verinag:- There are several places of attractions in and around Verinag. One of the benefits of making Verinag the focal point of your vacation is that it is equidistant from many beautiful places in Kashmir. Jammu, Patnitop and Anantnag are all close to Verinag. You could visit the Martand Sun temple from Anantnag, the Bahu Fort and Mansar Lake in Jammu, and Sanasar Lake and Nathatop near Patnitop.
  • Gulmarg:- Gulmarg is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination, and a notified area committee in the Baramulla district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • Pahalgam:- Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. Southeast, Tullian Lake is flanked by mountain peaks and often frozen.
  • kokernag:-Kokernag or Kukernag is in Bringhi valley in Anantnag district and is about 70 KMs from Srinagar. Situated at a height of above 2000 mts. above sea level, Kokernag is a lesser-known tourist attraction near Srinagar. The word Kokernag is made of 'Koker' which means a fowl and 'nag' which means a cobra and the name is because of ancient lore. Kashmir's largest freshwater spring Papashudan Nad is in Kokernag and it is believed to be a miracle cure for many maladies. It is also an established trout hatchery and tourists enjoy the freshly caught fish prepared in a variety of ways.
  • Sinthan Top:- sin than Top is known for its beauty and wonderful tourist attractions. The place is fast growing as one of the top tourist destinations in Kashmir. Around 37 kilometers of the snaky and uphill drive from Daksum, it offers an adventurous journey. The spot is emerging for mountaineering, trekking, and skiing. Sinthan Top is easily accessible from Srinagar, almost 4–5 hours drive by car.
  • Margan Top:- Perched at an altitude of 14,000 ft, the Margan Top has of late become a tourist attraction for being one of the most beautiful mountain tops of the Himalayan region in south Kashmir. Situated at about 35 km from Kokernag, this mountain pass is the gateway to a hidden valley called Marwan. Surrounded by beautiful meadows all around, the Margan Top boasts of a 360-degree view with Kashmir valley on one side and the Warwan valley on the other.
  • Nag Temple:- The Nag (Cobra) Temple near Patnitop is more than 600 years old. During the Nag Panchami Festival, it sees hundreds of Shiva devotees, who throng to this temple to pay respects and worship the snake King Cobra.
  • Vaishno Devi:- also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Goddess Mata Adi Shakti, also known as Goddess Mahalakshmi. The words "Maa" and "Mata" are commonly used in India for "mother", and thus are often heavily used in connection with Vaishno Devi.

Itinerary

Day1: Arrival in Srinagar

On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river. Proceed for an hour of Shikara ride in the lake. Dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day2: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg (90 kms/3 hrs) en route here Bhawani Darshan. On arrival at Sonmarg, visit Thajjwas glacier (own cost). Return back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 03 :Srinagar - Manasbal - Srinagar

After breakfast proceeds to Manasbal Located at a distance of just around 30 km away from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, the Manasbal Lake is considered to be a “gem” among all the lakes of Jammu and Kashmir. Known as the deepest lake of Kashmir as well as the lake which offers the most secured information amongst the lakes of Kashmir during the summer months. In the evening return to Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 04: Srinagar - Verinag  - Srinagar 

After breakfast proceed to Verinag. The Verinag Spring, named after Nila Nag, the son of the famous Hindu sage Kashyap Rishi. The spring, which was originally shaped in a circular form was given a change of shape during the reign of the Mughal emperor Jahangir in 1620 when he gave orders to renovate the spring in the Mughal traditional shape of an octagon. Today, picturesque in its settings and surrounded by tall Pine trees, the Verinag Spring is characterized by waters which are calm and sparklingly clear. Besides a glimpse of the Verinag Spring, a tour to Verinag is made even more special by the sight of several varieties of colorful flowers, gently swaying to the rhythm of the cool, mountain air. Inthe evening back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar. 

Day5: Srinagar city tour

After breakfast, we proceed for a half-day city tour that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, the chasm Shahi Garden, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) and Shankaracharya Temple. We will explore the gardens and later drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day6: Srinagar - Gulmarg

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding. Stay overnight at hotel in Gulmarg.

Day7: Gulmarg - Pahalgam

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the breadbasket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A atKhanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Day8: Pahalgam - Kokernag

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and take the road to one of the most serene and beautiful city of Kokernag in Anantnag district. On arrival at Kokernag, after some rest, proceed for Papashudan Nad spring. The water of Spring is popular for its medicinal and digestive properties and draws thousands of tourists around the world. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day9: Kokernag - Sinthan Top andDaksum

Proceed for a full-day excursion to Daksum and Sinthan Top.498 km from Kokernag, Sinthan Top is the highest pass connecting Kashmir with Jammu via Kishtwar. Daksum swathed in coniferous green forests is trekkers paradise. The curvy uphill drive from Daksum to Sinthan Top is pretty thrilling and adventurous. Sinthan top is popular for the  360 degrees view and year-round snow. Adventure enthusiasts can plan for mountaineering and skiing here. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kokernag.

Day10: Kokernag - Lihinwan andMargan Top

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Lihinwan and Margan Top. 45 km from Kokernag, Margan top connectsJammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. Margan is slowly becoming popular among tourists because of its stunning beauty and snowcapped mountains. At Lihinwan, you feel the fresh mountain air and the calmness and serenity. After spending quality time here, drive back to Kokernag for overnight stay.

Day11: Kokernag - Katra

After breakfast, check out from Kokernag and drive to Katra. Enroute visit Patnitop, Naag Temple, Apple Garden, and Nathatop. Later drive to Katra, check-in at Hotel for overnight stay.

Day12: Katra - Vaishno Devi  

The morning after breakfast trek/horse rides from Katra to MataVaishnodevi Darshan (15.kms one way). Back at Katra for Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day13: Departure

After breakfast check out from hotel and now ready drive back to Srinagar our representative will drop you at the airport/railway station to catch onwards your flight & return to home with Sweet memories of  Unique Kashmir  HolidayTour.
