Chanderkhani Pass is located in the district Kullu at a height of 3,660 metres. Chanderkhani Pass trek is the traditional way of reaching the mysterious village of Malana before the road to Malana was built.The Chandrakani Pass has some fine views of the Kullu valley to the mountains of Lahaul and as Malana village comes closer it provides jaw-dropping views of the Deo Tibba & Parvati ranges, best time for this trek is from May to October.
Day 01:
Pick up from Patlikhul/Nagger and drive to the starting point of the trek. At uphill trek starts from the village through the beautiful meadow. Initially a steep ascend through pine, Oak and big trees and then a gradual ascend on a grassy pasture to reach Chaklani camp. Chaklani commands an charming view of Kullu valley and peaks of Dhauladhar Range. Overnight camp at Chaklani.
Day 02:
In the morning after breakfast starts Initially, a steep ascends through a carpet of high altitude flower field to reach the top of Chanderkhani Pass – which is covered with snow till the end of May, a heaven for nature lovers. The Pass overviews wide and panoramic view of PIR PANJAL, DHAULADHAR ranges, and PARVATI VALLEY. Traverse the ridge and get down to the camp Chaklani for overnight stay.
Day 03:
In the morning after breakfast Descend down to base camp Nagger through the beautiful meadows and the forest of Oak and Pine and old villages of Kullu valley. Upon arrival at the base camp, check out and we will drop you at Manali.
