After that, you will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Rajgir, a beautiful ancient city surrounded by lush forests. It was the capital of the Magadha rulers until the 5th century. If the legends are to be believed, it was in Rajgir that Gautam Buddha meditated for several months and delivered some of his important sermons. After breakfast, you will proceed to visit the attractions of Bodhgaya. This is one of the 4th most important places in the life of Lord Buddha. This is the place where Lord Buddha had attained enlightenment under the Mahabodhi tree. Visit at the Mahabodhi temple that was built during the 7th century but originally by Ashoka during the 3rd century. After that return back to the hotel dinner and overnight stay.
