Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.
Tsomgo Lake, also known as Tsongmo Lake or Changu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometers from the capital Gangtok. Located at an elevation of 3,753 m, the lake remains frozen during the winter season.
Namchi or Name is the capital of the district of South Sikkim in the Indian state of Sikkim. The appellation Namchi means Sky High in Sikkimese.

You can also visit the Chemchey Indian Himalayan Centre for Adventure and Ecotourism located on a hilltop of Chemchey Village, South Sikkim at the altitude of 6582 ft. You can also visit Ravangla for its natural beauty. After, the lone Tea Estate of the state known as the Temi Tea Estate. Natural Beauty and the setting is worth enjoying after that rest of the day is free. After Evening one is free to stroll around M G Road or the Local Market - Overnight stay and dinner at Namchi.
