Sangrur is a town in the Indian state of Punjab, India. It is the headquarters of Sangrur District(6km )from Patiala. Patiala is a city in southeastern Punjab, northwestern India. It is the fourth largest city in the state and is the administrative capital of Patiala district. Patiala is located around the Qila Mubarak. Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe.
On arrival at the Patiala railway station meet our representative to get checked into your pre-booked hotel in Amritsar. Take rest in your hotel for some time and stay there all night long.
After breakfast proceed to Patiala. Start your tour Qila Mubarak Complex. The Qila Mubarak the complex stands in the 10-acre ground in the heart of the city and contains the main palace or Qila Androon the guesthouse or Ran Baas and the Darbar Hall. Visit the Sheesh Mahal also visit Moti Bagh Palace. After this visit Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib: This shrine is situated in what used to be the village of Lehal, now part of Patiala city. After breakfast proceeds Patiala to Sangrur start your tour to visit in Gurudwara Nanakiana Sahib, also known as Karir Sahib is situated in the village of Mangwal. This Gurudwara is said to have been visited by the fifth Sikh guru, Guru Nanak Devi. It is said that Nanak Dev Ji used to take baths in the pond of this Gurudwara, as well as sit on the pond side and preach to the villagers. Due to this, Gurudwara’s pond has been turned into a Sarovar. Nex to visit in Gurudwara Wadda Ghalughara Sahib. This gurdwara has been built in memory of all the Sikh fighters that lost their lives during a war against the armed forces of Ahmad Shah Durrani of Afghanistan, the Faujdar of Sirhind, Bhikhan Khan, and Zain Khan. The Banasar Garden is the most popular picnic spot in the city. Their surroundings comprise four towers, numerous walkways, many plants and trees, and a mini zoo. In ancient times, the rulers of Jind State used to spend their summers in the buildings around these gardens. Overnight stay at Patiala.
After breakfast at the hotel check out and drive to Amritsar (232km 04 hours journey) on arrival proceed to ‘Wagha Border’ to see ‘Parade and Salami’. Evening return back to Amritsar and visit ‘Golden Temple’ dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
