Jammu and Kashmir is the northernmost state of India locked in Himalayan Mountains. Jammu is the winter capital of state and known for its temples, particularly The Vaishno Devi Temple in Katra which is visited by over 1 crore (10 million) pilgrims every year, making Jammu the most visited part of Jammu and Kashmir State.

  • Vaishno Devi:- also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Goddess Mata Adi Shakti, also known as Goddess Mahalakshmi. The words "Maa" and "Mata" are commonly used in India for "mother", and thus are often heavily used in connection with Vaishno Devi.
  • Pahalgam:- Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. Southeast, Tulian Lake is flanked by mountain peaks and often frozen.
  • Gulmarg:- Gulmarg is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in the Baramulla district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir
  • Srinagar:- Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts, and houseboats.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Jammu

on arrival at Jammu railway station/airport meets with our representative. Upon arrival check-in the hotel at Katra. Evening on personal activities. Overnight stay at hotel in Katra.

Day 02: Katra–Vaishnodevi

After breakfast leave for Mata Vaishnodevi Temple for darshan.After darshan of Mata. Overnight at Vaishno Devi Temple on you won.

Day 03: Katra –Patnitop

After healthy breakfast in the morning transfer to Patnitop. ArrivePatnitop and check in to the hotel and later proceed for sightseeing ofPatnitop. Patnitop is a hilltop tourist location in Udhampur district on theNational Highway 1A, on the way from Udhampur to Srinagar. Patnitop is a distortion of the original name of "Patan Da Talab" meaning"Pond of the Princess". In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and the king’s princess often used to have her bath there. Proceed for local sightseeing which includes Nag Temple and excursion to Nathatop. Night stay at hotel.

Day 04: Patnitop –Pahalgam

After breakfast, leave from Gulmarg and drive to Pahalgam 2440Mtrs (Valeof Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is elevenhundred years old temple. By lunchtime reach Pahalgam which is the most famousplace for India Film Industry. After lunch enjoys the nature charm of thevalley. Day to enjoy the beauty of the Pahalgam valley. It is Kashmir's premierresort, cool even during the height of summer. Pahalgam is surrounded by many places of interest, and because the resort is set between fairly steep hills, it is worth hiring a pony rather than walking. The most beautiful of these isthe huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forestsof pine. Night stay in Pahalgam.

Day 05: Pahalgam–Gulmarg

After healthy breakfast in the morning check out from the hoteland proceed to Gulmarg reach there and check-in at the hotel, afternoonfull-day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort inthe valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest inthe world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature andthe snowy mountains. One can have a Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg toKhalinmarg. In the evening come back to the hotel, Night stays at Hotel.

Day 06: Gulmarg–Srinagar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar on the way visit enjoy the scenic beauty of Kashmir valley and later transfer to Srinagar. Check in to the houseboat and later proceed for half day sightseeing of Srinagar. In proceeding for a half-day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Adobe of love). Return to houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara ride on the Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. Also, get a view of some very interesting places around the lake. In the evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake to enjoy the sunset. Night stay at Houseboat.

Day 07: Srinagar-Jammu

After healthy breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and drive to Katra on the way enjoy the scenic beauty of Kashmir valley and later transfer to Katra. Check in to the hotel, evening free for leisure activities. Night stay at Hotel

Day 8: Jammu Departure

after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jammu our a representative will drop you Airport or railway station & return to home with sweet memories of Devi Darshan Katra  Holiday Tour.
