Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in Asian country till 1954, is currently a Union Territory city delimited by the southeastern state state. Its French bequest is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and stylish boutiques. A seaboard promenade runs on the Bay of Bengal and passes many statues, together with a 4m-high Gandhi Memorial.
On arrival at Chennai Airport/Railway Station from there you will be meeting with our representative and you will proceed to the Hotel. Check-in at the Hotel. Afternoon visit Kapaleeshwar Temple, an ancient Shiva Temple, constructed in pure Dravidian style. The Sri Parathasarathy Temple (Foreigners are not allowed inside) is dedicated to Lord Krishna, built-in the 8th century during the reign of the Pallavas. And Vadapalani Murugan Temple is among the most popular temples of the capital city and is located in the region of Vadapalani in Chennai. Built about 125 years ago, this temple is considered as an auspicious place to get married and witnesses approximately 7000 marriages every year. Dinner & overnight stay at the Hotel.
After Breakfast drive to Pondicherry. Enroute visit Kanchipuram the golden city of thousand Temples and one of the seven sacred cities of India. In Kanchipuram visit Kamakshi Amman Temple and Kailanathanadan Temple. Proceed to Mahabalipuram to visit Arjuna’s Penance, Shore temple, and Five Rathas. After the visit proceed to Pondicherry. Arrival at Pondicherry check-in and an overnight stay at the Hotel.
After Breakfast visit Govt. museum and Auroville where one can live in peace. The Spherical marble with a crystal inside it and the Meditation Centre is the main attraction.
Later drive to Kumbakonam and enroute visit the Chidambaram Nataraja Temple. It depicts Lord Shiva as the Lord of the dance Bharatanatyam. The Temple timings are 06.00 to 12.00 PM. Arrive Kumbakonam and check in at the Hotel. In the evening visit Adhi Kumbeshwara Temple and Sarangabani Temple in Kumbakonam. Dinner & overnight stay at the Hotel.
After Breakfast proceed to Trichy and enroute visit Tanjore Brahadeeshwara Temple, Maratha Palace, Saraswathy Mahal Library, Art Gallery and Sangeeta Mahal. After the visit, proceed to Trichy. Arrive Trichy check in at the hotel. Evening, visit Srirangam Temple and Rock for Srirangam is famous for its Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, a major pilgrimage destination for Hindus (especially Srivaishnavites) and the largest temple complex in India. The Rock Fort is a historic fort and temple complex built on an ancient rock. It is located in the city of Tiruchirapalli, which is in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is constructed on a 273-foot high rock. There are two Hindu temples inside the Rockfort, the Uchchi Pillaiyar Koil and the Siva Temple. Dinner & overnight at the Hotel.
After Breakfast proceed to Madurai. Arrive Madurai check in at the Hotel. Afternoon, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Madurai –The primary interest is the Meenakshi Temple, where Dravidian temple architecture may be considered to be at its best. Its Hall of a thousand Pillars is fabulous and is filled with worshippers at all hours of the day. The tour also includes a visit to the Thirumalai Nayak Palace & Thiruparangundram temple. Late evening participate in an Aarti Ceremony at Meenakshi Temple. Return to the Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel.
After Breakfast Proceed to Kanyakumari. Enroute visit Tirunelveli an ancient city of about 2000 years old and a town of Hoary tradition. Arrive Kanyakumari. Check in at the Hotel. Late afternoon visit Kumari Amman Temple, (a temple dedicated to virgin Goddess Parvathi), Vivekananada Rock Memorial, Gandhi Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel.
After Breakfast proceed to Kovalam. Check in at the Hotel. Afternoon Sightseeing of Trivandrum visiting. Padmanabha Swamy Temple Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple sits in the heart of the city of Trivandrum. The residing deity of this temple is Lord Vishnu. The temple is managed by the former royal family of Travancore. The temple is designed beautifully in the Dravidian style. Napier Museum, Chithra Art Gallery: Both Napier Museum and Sree Chithra Art Gallery are situated in the Museum compound, right in the heart of the city, near the zoological park. Napier Museum built in the 19th century, this Indo-Saracenic structure boasts a natural air-conditioning system and houses a rare collection of archaeological and historic artefacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Kovalam Beach: Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favorite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. Return to the Hotel & Overnight stay at the Hotel.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Trivandrum. Our representative will drop you at Trivandrum Airport to catch your onward flight and return back to home with sweet memories of South tour.
