Kausani- There are few places in the Himalayas which can compare with the beauty. In the Kumaon Hills known for their idyllic beauty with the huge mountains silhouetted against the sky. Kausani was originally called Valna and Kausani offers the magic of the deep pine forests and the majestic mountains. Kausani the birthplace of the famed poet Sumitra Nandan Pant is often referred to as the ‘Switzerland of India. It is situated among mountains and trees, the peaks Trishul and Nanda Devi are clearly visible from here.
On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, or Railway station or your desired location. You will meet our representative. “Welcome” and transfer to Kausani by road. On arrival at Kausani check into your pre-booked Hotel, evening free for leisure, Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.
In the morning, you can see the beautiful sunrise in the snow-capped Himalayas. After breakfast, proceed to visit the mesmerizing beauty of Kausani region. Visit Anasakti Ashram it is known as Gandhi Ashram, Laxmi Ashram, Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, and Kausani Tea Estate. In the evening return back to the hotel, Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning after breakfast, you will visit Bageshwar upon arrival visit Bagnath Temple, The temple was built in 1450 by Kumaon ruler, Laxmi Chand, at the confluence of Gomati and Sarayu Rivers. En-route also visits the Baijnath Temple which is located on the bank of River Gomti, evening back to Hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast check out from the hotel now ready drive to Delhi (420 km 09 - 10 hours journey). Our representative will drop you at the airport /railway station to catch onwards your flight/train & return to home with Sweet memories of Mountain Magic in Kausani Tour.
