Aizawl This is the largest city in the state. There is revealing the mystery behind the name of the town, the name of the town was originally Siaha where ‘Sia’ stands for elephant and ‘ha’ meaning tooth – An elephant tooth. But the Mizos traditionally call it Saiha.

Arrival at Aizawl

Aizawl to Saiha (301 km 10-11 hours)

River Twang:- The longest river in Mizoram that spreads to around 185 km, River Tlawng is surrounded by lush greenery all around and thus it is also one of the most beautiful spots in Kolasib. A visit to the river means surrounding yourself cool breeze along with the beauty of the flowing river is an experience that one should not miss. Fishing can be carried out at River Tlawng.

In the Afternoon after Lunch, we will be visiting Vairengte: -Vairengte is a great location for those who love the company of nature as it is, without any plasticity. It is located 130 km from Aizawl and is surrounded by green meadows, and hilly roads. It is a mesmerizing place as it is so quiet and calm. Return the hotel and overnight stay kolasib hotel.
