Aizawl This is the largest city in the state. It is the seat of a rich tribal cultural extravaganza and is famous for its handicrafts and Aizawl is also the center of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly houses, and civil secretariat. There is a population of Aizawl strongly reflects the different communities of the ethnic Mizo people.
On Arrival Aizawl, head straight to Mizoram’s largest church, Solomon's Temple. The church’s architecture, the backdrop of the hills and the peaceful environs make this place one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. Built by the religious group Kohhran Thianghlim, the structure takes inspiration from Solomon’s Temple of Jerusalem and was opened to the public very recently in 2017. In the evening, head to the flea market of Bara Bazar to shop for souvenirs and handicrafts. A vibrant market is also a great place for you to understand the culture of the city, and to meet and greet locals. People from nearby villages and tribes flock to the market with their traditional wicker baskets to sell a wide range of local delights. While you are here, don’t forget to stop at one of the many eateries to try out the authentic cuisine, comprising of Koat Pitha (fried fritters made of rice flour, jaggery and bananas), Misa Mach Poora (a shrimp preparation) and Chhum Han or Bai (made of steamed vegetables/pork and had along with rice). After Breakfast, we will be visiting an oasis picnic spot and khawnglung wildlife sanctuary.
Oasis picnic spot:- Picnic in the lush green lawns of these gardens, whilst looking at the beauty of it. The grass is perfect for walking and there are some well-built tombs that can be visited. The place has a great oasis and pretty flowers- it is well enveloped in flora. It is a perfect spot for couples as well as families to picnic and spends quality time.
khawnglung wildlife Sanctuary:- Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a vast number of species of wild animals. Common ones to be spotted are serow, barking deer, wild boar, gibbon, samba deer, and leopard.
Return to the Hotel and overnight stay in the Aizwal Hotel.
After breakfast, we will be visiting khawhpawp waterfall and khuangchera puk
Khawhpawp Water Falls:- Khawhpawp waterfalls is located at the western end of Aizawl city's locality called Lawipu. It is an interesting place to hang out at the weekend. The beautiful waterfall and unique rock formation are quite impressive.
Khuangchera Puk:- Khuangchera Puk is located at a distance of 30 km from Aizawl in a village known as the Ailawng village in Mizoram. The caves here are the longest in Mizoram.
After breakfast, we will be visiting sibuta lung and K.V Paradise.
Sibuta Lung:- Sibuta Lung was raised by a Palian chief about 300 years ago. It is said that a young orphan, Sibuta, was adopted by the chief. Sibuta killed his adoptive father and became the chief of over 2,000 houses.
KV Paradise:- A monument of Love. KV Paradise is the Modern Taj Mahal on Aizawl. This is a monument that speaks of a man's love for his wife who died in a car accident. ... Like most houses in Aizawl, the mausoleum stands on the steep face of a hill.
Return the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.
Early morning, post breakfast, get transferred Aizawl Airport, catch a flight for your onward journey.
