There is revealing the mystery behind the name of the town, the name of the town was originally Siaha where ‘Sia’ stands for elephant and ‘ha’ meaning tooth – An elephant tooth. But the Mizos traditionally call it Saiha.

Arrival at Aizawl

Aizawl to Saiha (301 km 10-11 hours)

In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Saiha. On arrival in Saiha, check into the hotel. An overnight stay at the hotel.

After Breakfast, we will be Full day visit to Palak Wildlife Sanctuary and Palak Dil.
Palak Wildlife Sanctuary:- Not the biggest of wildlife sanctuaries, it is spread across 15.50 sq. km of land. This place is sanctified with all the invigorating qualities of mother nature. The breeze here is simply beautiful and rejuvenating, do visit it.
Palak Dil:- it is also the largest lake in Mizoram. The location of this place, in particular, is pretty rich in nature given the fact that it is located in the Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot and is in abundance of verdant environs. As it is a major component of the Palak Wildlife Sanctuary, it is also blessed with a lot of flora and fauna.

Saiha - evangelical church of maraland – Saiha (4 h 27 min (107.4 km)

After breakfast we will be visiting Evangelical Church of Maraland is a Church in southern Mizoram in Northeast India. It was founded by English missionary Rev. & Mrs. Reginald Arthur Lorrain in 1907. It is the largest Church among Mara people. Baptist Church of Mizoram. Evening time is your leisure time return the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel Saiha
